Review on 🔧 Yost Vises 104 5 Machinist Stationary: Exceptional Precision and Stability for Machinists by Allen Hart

A MAJOR deficiency raises it from 5 stars to 1. There is a pin holding the lead screw in a vise. These pins go through the bottom and stick out to keep the vise from lying flat. This renders the vise unusable. The bottom was perfectly flat BEFORE the pin smashed through. They've sanded it down, but there's still a lot sticking out. Otherwise excellent quality. Made in the USA, 65,000 psi Malleable Iron, Fine workmanship, Smooth operation. How could they have overlooked this defect in multiple vises?!
