I bought this for my HP Specter laptop after our new dog snatched up my previous laptop charger. The previous charger still worked, but would gradually stop working if it wasn't connected in a certain way. I like this one better because the way it sits flush with the laptop means there's less chance of something turning it off and less stress on the charging port. Alright, here are the cons. At least I don't care about number one. When you plug it in, a window appears stating that HP recommends using HP chargers. I'm not sure how he knows I'm not using an HP charger. However, it still charges and does a good job. The second minus point is an important point, which is why this charger gets 3 stars. When I first got the charger, like all Micro-C chargers, it didn't matter how you plug it in. However, it stopped working after 2 weeks when plugged into the charger that came out of the port on the left. I don't know why but my laptop has 3 charging ports and none of them stop working when the charger comes out on the left. I actually had a panic attack because I had to print a presentation, my laptop broke and my charger didn't work. If I move the charger to the right, it charges well. All in all I've had it for about 2 months now and it still works well apart from the shortcomings I mentioned above.
