I am revising my original 3 star rating for this Toppin Comfy Air C1 HEPA Air Purifier. True, the Kloudi air purifier I bought last June is a quieter machine. The fan motor makes almost no noise at medium speed and a gust of wind. I hear a bit more engine noise with more wind noise on high settings. Toppin has a hum from the engine. When shifting from medium to high speed, the hum gets louder. The Toppin has less wind compared to the Kloudi brand, but I have found that the Toppin's high speed moves more air than its medium setting. Probably Toppin does not move the entire volume of air since his filter contains three filter layers. I removed the filter from the air purifier so that nothing was left after unpacking the unit. I briefly ran the air purifier without a filter as it worked as a simple fan to move air. I had slightly less air with the filter installed during this experiment. I think I'm getting more used to the sound. Kloudi air purifier is a site that was not found on Revain a little over two months after my purchase and I wanted to buy another brand. filter and try to find a suitable one. Kloudi uses a 120V AC power cord that uses a single outlet without blocking adjacent outlets. Toppin's wall-mounted power supply blocks some outlets for extension cords.
