In fact, the power (in the maximum mode!) In the same PMR range is at the level of Motorola radios, with their power of 0.5 watts. At first I was surprised by such a deception, and then I read the forums, watched the video and realized that, unfortunately, everyone has this. Well, the battery - it would be better if they made "mezinchikovye" (AA) batteries - there it would be possible to simply use batteries and mezinchikovye batteries, which in practice is VERY convenient! But in the walkie-talkie there are 4 range options at once, a convenient display (with a terrible menu, really) and an interesting price ! In general, I expected more from this radio model. After a few months of passive (I rarely use) use, the walkie-talkie was completely loosened (it's not clear what kind of protection the arbitrator is talking about), the battery began to hold much less. The communication range was very disappointing in practice. For comparison - Motorola PMR (from MVideo 2 pieces for 5 thousand) have been in operation for several years - they look like new, work better and even win in range! In general, I do not recommend Baofeng.
