This 4 liter Pyrex bowl was just what I needed. I have had a three piece bowl for many years and it has held up beautifully. But I needed a bigger bowl because making a cake in the largest set of 3 was really impossible. These 4 liters are exactly what the doctor ordered. The bowl is big enough so that the batter doesn't splatter when I increase the mixing speed. I also used it this weekend to serve and store a very large fruit salad. Thanks to the transparent glass, everyone can see the beautiful fruit inside and thanks to the handy lid, you don't have to fiddle with plastic wrap. It cleans great when hand washed but really shines when it comes out of the dishwasher. The lid says it's dishwasher safe, but I just give it a quick wipe with a sponge because I'm always worried about the lid warping in the dishwasher. but that's just me I knew I would love the quality of this bowl as much as the others. I was not disappointed and neither will you.
