You get what you pay for! Using inferior booster kits is like using 87 octane fuel in an exotic sports car! (Your car's new audio system is an exotic sports car) The first thing I did before I bought my bass system was buy this amp kit (I bought "Used Like New" for $10 less), I bought also a silicone license plate surround shield. (to eliminate the most common rattle), capacitor, spade lugs, LOC (Line Output Converter) and wire harness to plug and play my 2011 Ford Edge factory head unit, as well as a few other simple but good quality items. Days before buying a Kicker L7 subwoofer and a Skar 1000.1 amplifier, because small inexpensive things are just as important as choosing a subwoofer and amplifier. OFC IS THE WAY! My system sounds sooo good! So good I'm about to order a SECOND Kicker L7 subwoofer and a Skar 1000w RMS amp and BECAUSE I used this HIGH QUALITY OFC power cable I DO NOT need to upgrade my 4 gauge to 0 gauge , as I had to I would if I initially decided to buy a cheap ACC amp kit.
