This part looks well built and works well. It took me about 45 minutes to swap out the charging port and battery on my wife's 10.1-inch Nook version of the Samsung Tab 4. I recommend watching a few Youtube videos to learn how to do this repair. Several steps are not obvious. For me, there were two difficult repair areas. The first difficulty is to initiate the task of removing the back panel from the tray. After releasing the first part of the back, the rest of the removal went smoothly. Another difficulty was getting the tiny screws back into their holes. My final recommendation is to swap out the USB connector when replacing the battery. The port is not very expensive and does not add much extra work.
