There are many clever features here: The clip has a "leg" that adapts to thicker/thinner surfaces and grips with enough friction to hold it without pinching . Opens a maximum of 1 1/4 inches. Two blue/white lamps on 6" stems rotate and tilt to illuminate near and far surfaces (up to approx. 36"). They also have separate Hi/Lo/Off switches. Battery life is measured in hours depending on how bright you set it. The charging cable extends up to three feet from the nearest USB port, even when you're using the light. Folds up to fit in your pocket.
