Our Mezzaluna knife just arrived today and we were excited to try it on our veggie pizza for dinner. Cutting veggies was much quicker and easier than using a regular knife, especially for my arthritic fingers. Mezzaluna has a very convenient weight - light enough to be easily handled, yet heavy enough to cut raw vegetables effortlessly. It is well balanced and moves easily across the cutting board. Molded handles make it easy to maneuver the blade. When the pizza was done, the Mezzaluna blade cut through the filling and crust like a hot knife through butter—in other words, the sharp blade makes slicing easier. Our next plan for Mezzaluna is to chop herbs to make pesto. This is a great kitchen tool that reduces the hassle and makes cooking easier. Oh, and thanks to Bold Bee for creating sustainable and easy-to-recycle packaging.
