Not cotton! Not safe for birds!
I opened the package and immediately realized it wasn't cotton. Almost feels like nylon or poly. Unsafe rope for birds, paws can easily get tangled in it. I had to cut a huge piece of fluffy fluff and string the thread at the bottom, otherwise it would be dangerous. I needed extra toys for the new cage I put my parrots in or I would have returned it. As soon as I see the slightest part or danger, they come out immediately. I need this to get me going for a few days before buying new toys. I would NOT recommend buying these unless they are exchanging them for 100% cotton rope or sisal rope.
- Good Toy: This is a good toy, which not only allows the little bird to stand on it, but also allows the birds to climb up and down to exercise their muscles and chew on it to fasten their teeth clean. Keep your parrots happy and improve their health.
