This product looks really good in my setup and still works great. The description says it is a bubble generator. I assumed it was an air stone and I would just go to my air pump, but it is its own little pump that has an LED. 3 wires are connected to the assembled block: 2 power wires, one for the pump, one for the LED. and an air line. You route the air line just inches above the top of the tank and attach the included intake regulator. The pump sucks air through this tube so I would try to place it somewhere dust free and keep it clean, there is no filter. Bubble makers almost release fog bubbles that look really pretty without being distracting. On the way up, the column seems to sway in the current. It is convenient to have separate power lines. I have lights on timers. In day or evening mode you still can't see the LED so I set the LED to light up along with the moonlight. I always leave the pump on to saturate the tank with oxygen. I placed this in two colors, dull green and volcanic red, on opposite ends of the tank and when the moonlights come on and the bubbles light up it looks really nice along with the color changing bubble wand I installed in the back. . Their sides are transparent in places, and they seem to glow with heat, especially on a volcano. My wife, who thinks this hobby money is better spent elsewhere, says it looks cool. Can not do anything. The pumps have short laces. I did it in 90 gallons. Tank forward and the cable barely reaches the bottom of the back of the tank. Therefore, extension cords may be required.
