Poor quality faucet parts
The difference between this and a Delta replacement at a local store was $30. I would buy a Delta. I installed it for two weeks, the valve squeaks when turned and every day it gets harder to turn. Even more worrying is that it doesn't regulate the temperature, it pulses from warm to very hot. The original was replaced with a dripping one after a year of operation. Lesson learned. I will now replace this with the Delta replacement.
