Looks good, I like the simple and clean look with brushed nickel. Makes a beautiful accent in more utilitarian rooms and spaces without looking boring or overly whimsical. Look for the spec sheet that says "Bulb Type: Incandescent" because they are reputable. If you're trying to use a bulb that doesn't have the shape of a traditional incandescent bulb, there's a good chance it won't fit. In particular, when I tried to use the molded compact fluorescent bulbs (at least a few brands I had on hand), the shade hit the bulb before it could penetrate the fixture. Luckily I replaced a similar light and the sphere in this one was about 20% larger and fit all the way to the base so I just used a different glass so I could use whatever bulb I wanted. Without this stroke of luck, I probably would have lowered my rating to around 2 stars. Also, I hate being "that" person, but the styrofoam packaging used in this product is so bad it deserves attention. The only explanation was that it was intentionally designed to be the dirtiest, most annoying package ever made. It's like styrofoam powder, loosely pressed, which inevitably breaks and crumbles into small pieces. I wouldn't base a purchasing decision on that, but FYI you'll probably need a handy vacuum.
