Works great with my early 80's Hunter fans
I have several 52" dual speed fans with pecan blades that push in and change angle to go into reverse. and works just as well as the original. I don't know about the durability but I will buy a second one in case I need it a year later. To me this is the best fan ever made, solid cast iron with a brass finish.
