This is my first hitch on a vehicle I've owned and I was a little worried about the ease of installation but after watching the YT video looked at it, I thought it was. To attempt. Installation was easy enough, at the very least, removing the plastic panels on the left and right sides, installing the screws, and tightening everything up. (Make sure you have a torque wrench to get the correct torque.) I didn't even have to jack the car up. The tricky part for me, since I didn't have the car jacked up, was getting the lever to remove the muffler's rubber bushing. After struggling with this for too long (30 minutes) since I didn't have a pry bar that would fit under the car in a way that would give me enough leverage, I figured I'd attach a small flathead screwdriver to the front side of the hub to snap it over the edge of the muffler's metal hanger slides, facilitating bushing removal. After that, it was easy to complete the installation. The problem with the bushing isn't the hitch, it's that it was removed so you can lower the muffler far enough to get the hitch in place to install the bolts. (I couldn't find a way to get the hitch in place without dropping the muffler.) That issue aside, installing the hitch took 30-45 minutes without jacking up the car, so novices could do this slowly for nothing to screw up any part of vehicle or trailer hitch. The hitch is well painted and should last for quite a while. I would buy this again or whatever Kurt's likely catch will be in the future.
