Review on Fitbit Charge Wireless Activity Wristband: Small Size, Sleek Black Design by Chris Long

Great value for fitness

I can tell you there are still some minor issues with the syncing to the dashboard that need to be fixed, but other than that this Fitbit was amazing. It seems to me that the battery lasts two weeks, which is pretty decent. It charges fairly quickly and gives you nice feedback when you unplug it - this morning it said "Love Ya". LAUGH OUT LOUD. It was very easy to set up and tracks steps and exercises well. I use the manual activity feature to track my workouts, which then shows the calories burned. One problem that seems to have gotten better but isn't 100% solved yet is that sometimes it fails to load a manual exercise into the dashboard. The other problem I've encountered is that it doesn't report inconsistent information to Weightwatchers, although things have improved again in recent months - there's automatic activity scoring, which is nice. I just recently found Charge Cases on Etsy and that makes them a little more versatile to wear to work or to wear to the evening. I love the challenge of stepping past yesterday's steps and the excitement that comes with 10,000 steps when I make it is very helpful.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • I won't say anything
