So go ahead. I have thin, curly, damaged hair. Basically the worst. I have a hard time using heat protectant when my hair looks messy or greasy. I tried different things while shopping and I've been using this product for 2-3 weeks. It looks thick and oh my god your hair will be greasy but surprisingly it isn't! I place a very small amount (about the size of a coin) in the palm of my hand and work it through damp, clean hair a few times. It can be easy to add too much, so start small and then repeat the process as needed. The smell is pleasant, a little familiar. It helps my hair look less damaged, helps keep it straight, gives my hair some weight and my hair grows! I definitely see some growth issues with such good protection! DeF is worth trying. TO UPDATE. 6 months later and I'm still using it. My hair has definitely grown back and is protected from the heat! Def will be buying another bottle soon.
