UPDATE 2/24/19: So I used the new filters in my sanitizer and just got a flashing light saying I need to change the filters. I wasn't really impressed with the change (thinner, looser fit) especially as I feel like my allergies have gotten a lot worse since replacing the old filters. Because of this, I decided to try another brand instead of spending money on this one. They also tried contacting their customer support as per the comment they left in this review and got NO response. Just a little extra food for thought if you want to give them the leap of faith like I did. ********************************** ************** ** ***** Very disappointed with the new "update" of these filters. I got one of the old ones with a black foam frame and then just got a yellow plastic frame. The old version was tight-fitting; Yellow keeps dropping out when I try to install it in my GemGuardian. I just replaced it today so I can't comment on how effective it is and the same quality as the old version, but we'll see how I have the old filter in my living room and the yellow/spare filter in my bedroom. BTW: I'm also disappointed because the light on the machine that accepts this filter has stopped working and it's difficult to find a suitable replacement for my AC4825 model. Double frustration with my GermGuardian at the moment :(
