I have a Corsair 4000d case. I bought this cable because the Corsair cable was out of stock and I was hoping all would go well as my water cooled setup would require my GPU to be mounted vertically. I'm currently debating whether to return the cable or drill the case, but none of the screw holes match the mounting holes built into the case. Obviously there is no standardization, but it seems to me that manufacturers could have accommodated this very large market segment for Corsair products, or had wider slots for adjustable mounting points. Just wanted to make sure I'm adding this review to let other users know that Corsair has everything built in for their PCIe extension cable and you have to rely on modifying your case to use this cheaper alternative.
