Review on Oil-free compressor JAS 1223, 3 l by Mateusz Sowa ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

The previous version of this compressor was reviewed by all and sundry, and for good reason. She is very popular. First of all, because this compressor is the minimum option for comfortable airbrushing. It simply won’t work out cheaper: any models without a receiver or without a pressure reducing valve will not be able to provide an even air flow, without which airbrushing is torture. The compressor from the hardware store will be louder. Much louder. And here there is a 3-liter receiver and an adjustable gearbox, and it is also quiet. Noticeably quieter than its predecessor though. So this particular model is the most for an airbrush. Add compactness and light weight - generally ideal. The only known drawback is that it heats up. But this will be a problem only with a single creative impulse for an hour or more. If at least sometimes interrupted, then overheating will not be terrible. And yes, it's important. This is an airbrush compressor. For the spray gun, he does not have enough air flow. I generally keep quiet about any wrenches or sandblasters. Therefore - if you want more powerful, you will have to buy something else with a large flow, but also much more noisy.

Pros
  • Ideal compressor for airbrushing. There is a receiver, the flow is sufficient to work with nozzles up to 0.8 inclusive. Quiet.
