There are many options for segmentation that can be used when planning an A/B test. For example, it's easy to create different segments depending on whether a person has already visited your site or not. It's also possible to compare visitor behaviors between users of a certain type (like men vs women) or from one channel vs another (e.g., desktop vs mobile). We have been able to find insights we were missing before when tracking our visitors' behavior. We're using this feature to see if there are any differences in how people behave once they've logged in after visiting from different sources (e.g., social media vs Google Search). I like that it is easy to use, has many features and allows for customization of reports as needed. The reporting interface can be difficult at times if you are not familiar with how things work or what information needs to be included. It's worth spending some time learning all about the tool so that your queries are specific enough to get good results but also general enough to cover most scenarios. We have been able to track our website traffic very effectively using this software.
