Purple is actually blue
Purple turns blue when illuminated. Bought along with an orange for Halloween. When lit it was blue and orange. Lamps are high quality and durable. I bought about a thousand lamps from this company (red, blue, white, green, orange, purple), not a single one has deteriorated. Purple just doesn't go with the color when it's lit.
