This is so serious guys. I've had the same flat iron for a long time. I really liked it but mine was very old so I figured it was time to buy a new one. When I bought my original I bought it at a real beauty store but decided to buy a new one here at Revain. To make a long story short, I was straightening my hair with this flat iron one night and a big puff of smoke went up. out of my hair. I know the fact that my hair was completely dry because I'm really paranoid about damaging my hair. My hair is Sunk. How BURNT. I didn't end up with a bunch of puffins and frizzy/damaged sideburns. It's so awkward. I figured I'd try again because it MIGHT be my fault, so one night while I was doing my makeup I turned on the straightener to heat it up. I smelled something burning in my room, but didn't care. When I got there to start straightening my hair, I grabbed the straightener and it BURNED MY WOOD COUNTER AND OVERHEATED IT MELTING INTO PIECES. How literally you melted the plastic. separately. As if I don't know how to explain to you guys that the plastic on this thing was AGGRESSIVELY melted down and completely destroyed. I have attached photos. Basically I'm so angry and embarrassed about this because I loved this straightener before. It would be great if the seller would contact me for a refund or send me a new one as my hair is singed from their product overheating to the point it melted and I would love to another chance with the product to change your review about it!
