I bought this as a backup for the unit I use daily which has worked great for the last few years and still works. Only wanted to use this for travel. It worked fine the first few times, but now it doesn't get hot at all. I've tried turning it on and off by plugging it into different outlets. Nothing. upset. As it has been several months since purchase, I doubt I can go back at this point. I'll try to buy another one hoping this one doesn't work.

My original straightener which was wider broke after about 10 years. So I bought a chi stretcher (or whatever it's called) that got a lot of positive reviews on Revain and I hated it. I found and bought this one. It's thinner than my original straightener, but I still love this straightener. My hair stays straight and I have long, thick hair. I highly recommend this straightener.
