Wow, what can I say. The application allows you to receive instant notifications of violations in this alarm system. It only uses the 2.4 GHz WiFi frequency, which is fine since most but not all WiFi routers seem to use this frequency for WiFi. And it improves penetration and range at 5.4GHz. The only downside of 2.4GHz is the potential for interference and slower speeds (you don't need high-speed data for this alarm clock). The app is free for iOS and Android. I tested and set up my system at home using the iOS version of the app. Gateway module (plugs into an outlet, has a large LED ring on the front, 3 buttons on the side) easily plugs into any 120V outlet. It charges the Li-Ion battery inside, I assume this is due to power outages. The gateway receives information from 4 magnetic sensors, as well as from an IR motion sensor and a remote control. The spacing between these modules should be large enough to accommodate most homes. Before the installation, I programmed each sensor individually per gateway. I wrote the number of each door/window sensor on the back so I know which sensor is damaged (office window or main bathroom window). Each door/window sensor is powered by two coin cell batteries in each unit. The IR sensor is powered by two AA batteries. The gateway has a built-in siren that lets you know whether you have armed or disarmed the system. Its LED ring changes color depending on what you are doing with it (programming new sensors). According to the instructions, you can add a large number of sensors. Everything is easy to install. It will take you half an hour to sort everything out. You can easily attach door/window sensors with the included double-sided tape. The IR sensor uses two screws. I see a great advantage of this alarm system in the fact that it can be easily installed in an apartment or apartment without taking up space (easily dismantled when moving out). I think you could also use it in a hotel room, you just need 2.4Ghz wifi so you can get notifications about room break-in (for hotel maids etc.).
