We bought a set of 9 of these radios. I used them several times before Covid for events where we needed good communication. They worked (not the cleanest sound, but they worked) and range was good. However, after a year of inactivity, you would think you could just charge and use the batteries. No, not this case. 6 out of 9 batteries are charged normally. The remaining three batteries were not even charged and were not recognized when connected to a charged one. I tried using chargers which charged the other 6 with no problem and that didn't work. I've tried swapping them out and putting them in walkie talkies that charged when they had other batteries and nothing. So the problem is definitely with the batteries themselves. So now I have six working walkie-talkies left, not the nine I paid for. Curious to see how long the other six hold out before deciding not to attack at all. Once they're dead, you're left with a useless walkie-talkie that becomes a paperweight. Very disappointing.
