The description implies that it only works on Windows 10. But it worked trivially for me with my own GPS software on Ubuntu and Raspbian Linux. It appears as a ttyACM device with USB Vendor/Product ID v1546p01A8 at 9600 bps with a default refresh rate of 1 Hz. It uses the Ublox 8 UBX-M8030 chipset, which supports both the standard NMEA protocol and the proprietary UBX binary protocol supported. The Ublox 8 is the most impressive GPS receiver out of sixteen I've tested with my own software. I'm surprised it's as cheap as it is.
