The previous (bad) review missed the mark I think

I also bought this item but I didn't report the problem from another buyer who also attached a photo of the "problem". Has. I think this reviewer got it wrong because this reviewer did not loosen the small set screw that is under the rod that holds the hammer - he just removed the hammer itself and expected the screw shown in her photo to be straight goes through the pole. This rod comes off completely when you remove the set screw which is on its underside and then the screw sinks to a lower position on the wall plate and doesn't interfere with the hammer. The design of this item has no flaws.
