When I ordered I didn't understand the restrictions - this pup needs extra. Requires an external 65W power supply. Otherwise the functionality is limited. Belkin Website Disclaimer: The USB-C port on the Belkin INC004 is for power only and cannot be used to sync data or charge the device unless using an external power source. [Ignore the double negative syntax, which is inherently confusing btw] Another problem - look closely, it ONLY has a Type-C USB connector. Oh, that's ONLY for power. This limitation was not clear to me when I bought it. USB C is for input. Out.OK, so I'll continue down the rabbit hole. The search for Revain was "useful" in a sense. It helped me see what I didn't know. Started with "Load". I've been distracted by searching for portable chargers that can deliver 65 watts. There was only one power supply on the Belkin website, and it turned out to be able to handle a maximum of 18W. I haven't found anything that can handle 65W of power. As you can imagine, USB connections are becoming increasingly complex. Make sure you are using the newer USB C 3.1. The 3.0 standard does not offer enough performance to support multiple displays. It was 4 hours of research. I finally did it. First, get a USB-C wall charger and a USB-C 3.1 (male to male) cable. And yes, both have to be able to handle 65 watts. Yes, it will cost you: wall charger $35 and up. USB C 3.1 power cord, ranges from $25 to $39. Bottom line: $60 extra. Finally, Belkin will soon have a newer model. It has 14 ports, two of which are USB C but one of which is for power delivery. Cost $249, power adapter and BYO cable.
