When the Sync 20+ is next to my MacBook but I'm not using a Bluetooth dongle, I press the Bluetooth pairing button on the Sync 20+. It connects to my Macbook, I accept the connection and 10 seconds later it automatically disconnects. I spent several hours on the phone with Poly Tech Support. This seems to be expected when using a laptop's bluetooth (presumably it works correctly with a cell phone's bluetooth). However, this is not documented anywhere (!) and it does not claim that a dongle is *REQUIRED* to use Bluetooth. Since the Sync 20 is identical to the Sync 20+ except for the dongle, this means that the Bluetooth-enabled Sync 20 cannot be used with a laptop via Bluetooth at all. I am impressed.
