Review on 🧽 Efficient Cleaning with Full Circle Cleanyá Colada 2-Pack Heavy Duty Scrubber Sponge, Natural by Geoff Gunnmann

Not as abrasive but good for everyday use

I ordered washcloths (not the ones with regular sponge on one side). They caught my attention as I tried to switch to more sustainable and eco-friendly cleaning options. I already use some machine washable sponges that have kind of a rough surface on one side but aren't rough enough to scrub anything, so these pads seemed like a good choice. As soon as I opened the package I was greeted by a pleasant coconut scent. I really like the off-white and natural fiber color. The pads themselves are pretty thin as you can see in my photo and I kind of see through them. The fibers are not as dense as a standard green scrubber. I've used it to wash dishes, pots and pans left over from last night's dinner and it does a great job of cleaning up the usual, everyday dried out mess. I cleaned some of my stainless steel sinks and everything but the rust spot was removed from them. I think a regular green brush would have removed the rust. However, green scrubbers are sometimes too abrasive and leave swirl marks on metal or soft surfaces. While these scrubbers aren't as heavy as they claim, they do have the benefit of not likely hurting anything unless you put some Hulk Hogan elbow grease in them. How long each of these will last remains to be seen as I've just received them, but so far I'm happy with the performance and feel better about adding another eco-friendly alternative to my arsenal. Update: I really liked this scrubber. Distance! There were mineral residues on my metal steamer basket that I couldn't remove before. I cleaned it with this scraper and the residue came off immediately without much effort! The shiny surface of the metal has been restored. I'm pleasantly surprised at how easily it got the job done because I've tried steel wool and even sprayed CLR on it in the past and it didn't help at all.
