This is a good but not outstanding clipper. The build quality is average for the price. It's a lightweight plastic that won't take damage (e.g. if dropped), but that's about par for the build quality at this price point. It lies comfortably in the hand and the operating noise is gruff, but not too loud or annoying. Blades is the star of the show. They are pretty sharp and cut cleanly. Other pluses include USB charging and water resistance, so you can wash under the tap. The main disadvantage is combs with a fixed blade length. They are cheaply made and difficult to put on/take off. They work and stay in place while attached, but the corners are clearly cut quality compared to other trimmers in this general price range. This is not a perfect hair clipper or stubble trimmer requiring the use of blade combs, but a standard fine detail trimmer. It works well. Five stars for a thorough trimming/shaving; three stars for a haircut; Overall rating 4 stars.
