Review on 🔌 Enhanced GoControl CECOMINOD016164 HUSBZB-1 USB Hub by Isaac Shankar

I was a former user of Wink Center but there are rumors that the company is in financial trouble and there is some truth to those rumors as there have been several problems in the services of the cloud in the last few months, which will seriously affect my home automation. After the last issue with Wink I finally got fed up and decided to switch my home automation to local with my Home Assistant installation! Since I had a combination of ZigBee and Z-Wave devices, this dongle fitted the bill. After I installed the flash drive and added the required configuration, all my ZigBee and Z-Wave devices worked (for Z-Wave first exclude from the old hub and then enable the use of HUSBZB). Now all my devices are managed by my locally running Home Assistant with no dependency on the cloud, which brings yet another benefit. It used to take 1-2 seconds for the light to respond with the wink hub, but now it happens almost instantly when I turn on the light!
