I was expecting the case to be a little heavier given its bulk, but the foam it's made of is quite a low density. Firm enough to soften the Kindle, but still soft enough to have some "give". It fits the Kindle 7" (2019) perfectly, but I wish there was a little less material around the power and volume buttons. They're hard to see from the side of the screen, and for people who don't know where yet where these buttons are (like kids) this will add a bit of a learning curve. I may end up trimming some of the foam off that end. As a right hander I want the grip to be on the opposite side of the body so it's easier to get around keeping it in vertical orientation on the left side but that bothered I'd like to set it up horizontally so I wouldn't deduct a star for that I think it would be nice to reinforce the strap holes a bit but that's it again a nitpick.
