Review on ๐Ÿช‘ Enhanced Modway Advance Drafting Stool with Flip-Up Arms in Sleek Black, Ideal for Reception Desks, Drafting Tables, and More by Patricia Wilson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Decent chair with small features

The chair was professionally packaged in a large box and the only complaint I have is that Styrofoam blocks were used for the packaging and small bits of it end up everywhere. So plan on vacuuming after you're done. Assembling the chair itself was very easy and straightforward thanks to the included instructions. You need to use 4 screws to screw into the bottom of the chair to install the plastic cover. There are no pre-drilled holes so I used my hand drill to make this easier. I could see it was a pain to do with a hand screwdriver. The seat is definitely a bit flat. I'm 6" and 160 lbs so it's a reasonable size and I think if the seat was a little deeper it would be more comfortable. I don't have a problem with the toe ring staying in place but it is small and basically the only way to put your feet on it is to hook your heels on it.Aside from that, you want your feet to be almost directly under yours., but you're using the footrest, which isn't a comfortable or ergonomic position.. With all that being said I'm sure I'll give it a solid 4 stars Not quite 5 because of the slightly flat seat and small footrest Handy if you have room next to the ring to rest your legs and I do like how the armrests fold out to the side.It looks good too and the details seem to be quality that will stand up to normal use.EDIT: A few months later I wanted to update my review. This chair is extremely uncomfortable as the footrest mel is not tall enough, I have to tuck my feet under the chair to put my feet on the footstool and then hook my heels onto my shoes. Needless to say, this is REALLY uncomfortable and not ergonomic at all. For this I changed my rating to 3 stars because it is so annoying and uncomfortable that I rarely use the chair and just stand instead. This is my only complaint and seems to be a very common problem with these "drawing chairs". It seems someone will guess and make the footboard 3-5 inches larger in diameter.
