Reliable KVM with few features that are easy to use

I have tried several KVMs including some models with faster switching or more features but this one seems to be the most reliable. The most notable issue is that it takes a while to toggle, but I've just learned to be patient. And just to be clear, by "sometime" I mean 4 to 6 seconds. In comparison, other models I've had in the past can switch in a second or two. However, these other devices weren't as reliable until I finally had only one port left. So I think it's a great compromise. Another quirk I can easily work around is the occasional inability to switch to a specific input/computer. In my case, this is almost always my second computer. It could be a combination of host OS and computer hardware, but I don't think so. I have a Windows laptop on port 1 and then three nearly identical PCs on the other ports, one running Windows and the others running Linux. To work around the problem, when it occurs (about every twenty or thirty toggles), I just press enter 1 and 3 at the same time to reset KVM, and then press enter 2 for the computer on the problematic port. Simple workaround. A rare feature that confused me for a while was the issue of some PCs booting up after installing a new OS image. The solution for me was to connect the monitor, keyboard and mouse directly so that the first boot was complete after the image was created. Strange but manageable. All in all it's a solid device and I'm very happy with it. I've already mentioned some aspects of my particular setup, but another detail that might be of interest is that I don't use analog audio. Links. Instead, I use a generic USB audio dongle with analog output that plugs into my speakers. When I switch between computers, the USB stick is removed from one computer and then recognized (again) on the other, there's a little song about USB removal/insertion, but I'm used to it.
