So far, so good. The time will show.

The stock lights on my Jeep XJ were terrible. There was an HID kit, but it didn't work very well in a halogen case. I had to adjust the beam lower to avoid blinding the transport. Tried it with LED bulbs too, same problem. After some research I decided to try projector upgrades but didn't want to spend more than $120 on the Morimoto brand so I decided to give them a try. Installs easily in some Pilot H4 headlights (they already had them and bought them for $30). I had to buy flat flanges (2 for $4 from Ace Hardware) to fit behind the headlight housing. The threaded shank fitted perfectly and I was able to tighten the adjusting nut. The placement in the soldered high beam was perfect. I had to make some adjustments to the light pattern with the headlight adjusters and it has worked perfectly so far. Time will tell how long they last, but for $26 it couldn't be better. Also bought Morimoto H1 bulb holders ($17) which are perfect for these projectors and keep the H1 bulbs straight and stable. All in all it was around $80-$90 including the H1 HID bulbs which I bought for $8 (H4 kit already installed). from Innovated $35) Used JB welding to attach the covers as the supplied screws are too short. I could probably buy longer screws but I went with JB Weld as I already had them and seen them in all the instruction videos. Updated with photo of light/ray diagram. Still need to make some adjustments. The highlights are due to the covers not being installed so I was able to easily make adjustments. When installing housings, there is no glare above the cut-off line. So far I am very happy with these projectors, have driven about 1800 miles on the freeway and what a difference compared to the original HID kit without the projectors. I wish I had a picture to show what it looked like before but believe me there was virtually no usable light.
