My 2011 Yukon Denali XL alternator gave an error code when tested. watch online video. Super easy once you have it. I have to say it was difficult to get the generator out of the stand/frame until I used a 3 foot pry bar. You'll understand what I'm talking about if you watch the video and you just use an 8 inch screwdriver. Let's not do it where we have snow. For your information. Pretty darn easy to remove with a big rod; a big screwdriver is not so much. Those videos where they just stop and then come back are full of nonsense. it's just me I also used lithium grease to ensure the new block slides easily with no damage in transit. Seems to be working fine since installation.
