It's fantastic! The smell is a super sweet earthy beeswax scent and the colors are incredibly rich! I bought this for my eldest who is 2.5 years old as a stocking stuffer for Christmas! I wanted to give her something to play around with and I wouldn't have to worry about her making a huge mess! This is certainly no substitute for something like an art test, but it certainly has a place in our art corner! Some advice I've found is to cut one piece into 2-4 smaller pieces to make warming up much easier for little hands. It takes a minute or two to actually become flexible, but once that's done it can be shaped or stretched into almost anything! For younger children, I wouldn't recommend making them shape complicated little things, just letting them focus on stretching or folding them so they don't get frustrated and enjoy the feeling. this heats it up and makes it soft and pliable. If using this with more than one child, you can boil some water, then let it cool for a second, then leave the wax in the hot water for a minute or two and it will be warming up in no time!
