These shorts are comfortable all day and true to size. The pockets easily fit my iPhone SE in an OtterBox case, wallet, and car keys. So far I've bought myself a brown leopard, a blue diamond, a lilac gray and a dark gray in large sizes and for my mother an XXL in dark blue and a dark gray. Both pairs in dark gray were returned as they were too small. The rest of the pair fits perfectly. None of the colors I've bought so far show through. I used the solid color as a short combo under dresses and skirts for work as the material is quite smooth. Patterned ones aren't as smooth and just a hair over plain ones. This is only noticeable if they are tried on one after the other. When I sit down, the seat of my pants goes to about mid-thigh and then back down when I stand up. For plus size reference, I'm 5ft 7in and 135-145lbs with long legs. I wear large in sweatpants, leggings, capris and shorts and size 8 or 10 in jeans or dress pants. I like my gym clothes to fit but not be too tight or restrict my yoga or cardio activities. The large one stays in place during these exercises and the stitches are not tightened. As for the XXL size, my mom says they fit like Walmart's XXL size track shorts. I look forward to wearing them on a walk with friends and snapping some cute hiking photos in the warmer weather.
