This is required for the "Crazy Sharp "

For the money this is a great little sharpener. Up to this point I've always used whetstones and steel to keep my blades (both long and short) sharp. Judging by the quality of the blade, I've gotten pretty good at it over the years. In my humble opinion there are three types of sharp blades: 1) store-bought new blade 2) the blade shaves dry or wet. And then there's what I call "insanely hot." I can make a blade insanely sharp if it's good to begin with and made of good steel. Although some high carbon woods are a real pain because the metal is very hard. Anyway, I wanted to try a precision sharpener because I had heard and seen amazing results. I ordered this. I've been practicing on a couple of my old pocket knives and I could INSTANTLY say this sharpener just upped my short blade game! So after gaining experience, I screwed some of my most prized (and expensive) blades onto this thing. Jaaaang! I only had to use the black finishing crumb because my knives were already very sharp, but after a few passes on the blade, flipping it over and a few more passes on the other side, the hair just ROLLED! didn't even have to be cut! I thought I was good at it, but with this tool? It's like sending my knives back to the manufacturer and having them professionally sharpened. So if you've got good steel and don't mind playing around with blades a little, GET THIS TOOL. Krrrazi!
