I use this printer to print at home for our volunteer work, never more than a few pages at a time. This is the grumpiest and dumbest tech development. It will NOT accept legal size paper (the main size I use, but since I only print a few sheets at a time I figured I could learn to live with the manual sheet feeder). 2. Constantly gives errors. I keep updating the firmware and it only seems to get worse.3. Sometimes when it throws errors, you keep restarting it and the error doesn't go away.4. If it throws an error, you can't ignore it, it blocks using the printer menu.5. The errors that are most common (scanner errors, go to Epson.com - NOT much help, it's a HUGE site and even to contact tech support you need to have the actual serial number) - so you can only do technical ones Get support if you remember to send the warranty card? What a joke 6. The "scanner error" has nothing to do with printing but does NOT allow us to print half the time. He starts picking on us because he's running out of ink weeks before the actual end. Found this after my wife threw away half full, expensive ink cartridges. I'm smart about it now.8. After a few months, the scanner/copier function just stopped working and its bugs interfered with all other printer functions. I put off this bad review, I don't like to review and I hate giving bad reviews even more but this product and Epson deserve that they post rubbish like this. I'm a highly paid technical IT professional and have dealt with many printers. That's really the worst. It's the most annoying, tricky, unreliable, etc. And Epson, the 'big name', doesn't even make it easy for you to get support like many smaller, more convenient companies. don't buy it We have to throw this one away and buy another one, we can't even do our small workloads the easy way. These are ALL workarounds. Thanks, 08/07/2019 - Finally tried to call the Epson 800 number as prompted. My serial number was out of warranty (so much for the product's lifetime support - very misleading). They tell me that what I bought from the well-known company Epson is either good for repairs that cost more than I paid for the printer, or junk. I waited on hold for a few hours just to find out. Then he stayed on hold for another half hour to speak to the manager and hear the same story. I then mentioned that I had bought some cartridges and he held me for another half hour to see if he could get a refund on the very expensive cartridges I had bought. He then returned to the network and pretended not to hear me and said he would call back if he got a reply on the tapes. So. I'll throw it away and never buy from Epson again. The support experience was too painful and wasteful for my time. Epson, you are such a disappointment.
