Review on 🏎️ Dynomax Super Turbo 17744 Exhaust Muffler: Unleashing Unmatched Performance by Kyle Rock

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Decent mufflers for their money

In general, the muffler is not bad. It's light and my LS toned the RX7 down a bit from what it was before. I was driving a Vibrant TPV right in front and my car was LOUD. I had these mufflers for almost 5 years and they were starting to age as it was impossible to talk in the car. The exhaust sound is pretty good, that's exactly what I was looking for. I did a little research and found that this muffler dampens the exhaust significantly and doesn't restrict flow. After putting the silencer on, I immediately noticed the difference. It was very quiet compared to the Vibrant TPV and the flow wasn't as restrictive as I thought (maybe a little). The only thing that bothered me was that I wish the build quality was better, it fell off the table and left a huge dent in the muffler outlet. And the table wasn't even that high. So time will tell how they fare in the long run. I will update this review accordingly. Another problem I have is that the muffler tips sold by Dynomax, which are clips on these mufflers, don't actually fit. The initial measurement on this one says 3 inches, however. Both mine were bigger. So if you're looking for Dynomax's advice on hookup and operation, they won't be there.
