This has quickly become my favorite post-shave product. This hydrates and instantly relieves any irritation without becoming oily or shiny, which is something most aftershave balms struggle with when applied to the head. My skin tends to be sensitive and a bit oily on warm/hot days, so it's nice to have something that doesn't contribute to these issues and actually does what it says on the tin. The ingredient list is pretty damn good and cleaner than most other products. Once applied, it leaves a "matte" finish like most aloe-based moisturizers and has a light, clean/fresh scent that will stay with you for most of the day. If I had one small problem, it would be the smell. That's not bad, but I usually don't care if my shaving balms or moisturizers are scented, especially when it's that typical "fresh" note you get in most bulk men's shaving balms/body sprays/deodorants etc . I've always liked being able to use something that doesn't compete with any fragrance I'm wearing on any given day. It's definitely a personal preference and as I said, it's more fun than most and easy enough not to be a deal breaker for me. Plus, it works so well that I'm not even thinking of using anything else for the foreseeable future. Highly recommended!
