Review on ๐ŸŽฎ NACON Wired Compact Control: High-Performance Gaming Controller for Unmatched Precision by Tim Ram

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good wired alternative to DualShock

After struggling with the stock PS4 controllers, I was looking for a low-to-the-ground replacement and came across this controller as one of my favorites. I was pretty happy with it, but passed it on to a friend who was having quality control issues with the dual shock. It's solidly built, the wide keys are comfortable to use, and L1 and R1 have a decent click. The L and R triggers do their job, although it can take a while to get the feel for it. Everyone seems to answer everything well and good. The 3m cable is a godsend and I wish more wired controllers would use this length. The touchpad is solid, seems better than Dualshock. Dimensions are small. It's a lot smaller than most everyday controllers, but the button layout is more comfortable for small hands. The left side of the controller is too narrow between the left stick and D-pad for my personal comfort. Speaking of the D-Pad, it's about the size of an Xbox One, which is fine, but when it has a proper hinge it feels like it's too short. I get some weird unintended inputs from him, not often but enough to warn you when playing fighting games with him. There's no motion control, but most wired pads aren't, so this is what I expected. A 3.5mm jack compatible with a headset is welcome. Strange Note: When trying to Using it on my PC, Steam recognized the controller as an Xbox pad. No problem, just a fun observation. EDIT: It reads like a PS3 pad in the current driver version. Not so hot what's up
