Do not touch the lens with bare skin
I installed the 1st bulb with bare fingers and accidentally touched the bulb lens. Because of what it will burn through in 2 days. I used a paper towel to unpack and install the following. That helped! I don't know what "thickness" means in relation to a lightbulb. Good value for money
