Very thick comfortable toilet brush. The last toilet brushes I bought came in two packs and were very cheap - and it showed. This brush and its container are well made. The bristles of the brush are nice and hard. The bowl is open on one side, which I think is way better than covering a wet brush. It is open to air and more hygienic as it is allowed to dry out between uses. I love the feel and quality of this product. This is a winner for me. UPDATE: I have to eat my words above. Yes, it's very strong and well made, which is still true today, but the flexible hinge makes the hand unstable. When I first used it, the hinge was stiff because it was new. After several uses, the hinge has become loose and it is now very difficult to keep the brush stable enough to clean the toilet properly. If you push too hard, the hinge will bend and you'll lose the ability to rub vigorously. Yes, I have read the instructions and hold the brush in a specific way so you can brush without bending the brush. No, it does not work. So I have to revise my assessment.
