antenna at a good price. I use this antenna at 10 meters and mount it at 50 feet and most days it works better than my full wave dipole. I have a Mini-8 at 100ft and an SWR of 1.2 on my analyzer. I have used it on my KW radio on 6.10, 20.40 and 80m with internal tuner and it worked great there too. I just wanted to see what it would do if it wasn't as good with a 10m rig. I've worked on every station I could listen to in the US and I've worked on several stations outside of the US. Like I said, it's a great price for its performance and a great backup antenna for HF. I first installed it on a 10 foot piece of top protection tube and drove about 10 inches into the ground to see how well it worked when I first got it and it worked well enough there to test on several stations to work. I was going to use it for field days but decided to put it on a tower instead and I'll be ordering another to pack with my field gear.
