For me, this material is just fur. I've tried it on both wet and dry hair. I'd say you can dry apply it more gently, but it's not as good as some of these people are making it. I was looking for something that would tame and smooth my dry, brittle ends, but the only solution is either a haircut or Olaplex 3. The scent gives me a complete nursing home feel. Don't dig. It's more or less a smoothing serum. If you want a REALLY bomb-smoothing serum, I would suggest you buy Paul Mitchell. That's the real deal. I will still use this material because it has a similar texture but like I said the smell is confusing to me.
