Yes, I bought it without paying attention. The product arrives exactly as advertised, then you turn it around and realize it was made in China. Go back to the page and as advertised it is from a China based company with a .hk site. Look at the certifications and level 1 just means the hardware conforms to international standards, nothing to say about the software. It will probably work. Is anything else downloaded to your computer to successfully transfer your certificates? I don't know, but CHINA! Military/DoD, do not connect your CAC to this. Take BX's clumsy CAC reader and get a USB-3 to USB-C converter.
